INVESTIGATION SKILLS

I served over 24 years as a police officer with a specialist background in investigation, surveillance and intelligence at all levels, concluding my career with the National Crime Squad.

Upon leaving the police at the end of 1999, I have continued to utilise my investigation skills as an investigator conducting investigations and surveillance in the commercial and public sector arena, conducting all investigations within all legal constraints and producing the necessary evidence to a standard sufficient for prosecution within the Criminal Courts, Industrial Tribunal or Civil Courts.

TRAINING ABILITY

Towards the end of my career I qualified as a Police Trainer delivering specialist training to the National Crime Squad from the Specialist Crime Centre. I have also obtained teaching qualifications to deliver further education training.

Since leaving the police at the end of 1999 I have delivered training in all aspects of investigation from legislation, interviewing, and intelligence through to surveillance. This training has been delivered to both the private and the public sectors through accredited courses via Portsmouth University on behalf of two well-known and respected training companies.

I regard myself as having a thorough understanding of all aspects of Local Authority investigations whether they fall within or outside the London area, as I have delivered training extensively throughout the United Kingdom.

My skills in the training environment have been extremely well received by the delegates whether they are managers, investigators or support staff. Should you require additional information with regards to feedback, details can be provided in confidence.

All the company trainers have a similar investigation and training portfolio from either the law enforcement background or Local Authority enforcement background depending upon the training course required.
